Extra funds from the UK government

The UK government allow charities such as the Baranku School Fundraising Charity to claim back the tax associated with the donations of people who pay UK income tax. Thank you to all of the donors who have completed a gift aid agreement to allow the charity to do this.
We are really pleased that we have now crossed the last hurdle enabling us to submit our first claim which will result in additional income of £101.51 to the school from donations made directly to the charity. It should be noted that the gift aid associated with gifts made by members of The King's Church Arnold was reclaimed by the church and so are not included in this figure.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us financially, this has made a massive difference to the lives of the children who attend the school and to the volunteer teachers.
